Challah French Toast

Challah French Toast with Balsamic Blueberry Sauce and Whipped Mascarpone

Ingredients

1 loaf of Challah

3 Eggs

¾ cup Heavy Cream

2 tsp Granulated Sugar

1 tsp of Vanilla Bean Paste

4 oz of Chianti Classico Extra Virgin Olive Oil

3 oz of Mascarpone

1 recipe of Balsamic Blueberry Sauce

Method

Slice the challah into thick slices

Whisk the heavy cream, eggs, sugar, and vanilla together

Heat the Chianti Classico Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a sauté pan

Soak the challah in the mixture, sear on both sides in the pan

Whip the mascarpone until light and creamy

Plate the French toast with the whipped mascarpone and blueberry balsamic sauce
